Er woedt een hevige discussie in de Stad over de plaatsing van Windturbines. Maar ALS ze er komen, dan kunnen ze ook maar beter in handen zijn van bewoners zelf.
Veel mensen, vooral met afstand tot dit soort onderwerpen, zijn daar niet van op de hoogte
Vanuit de Afrikaanse gemeenschap komt het initiatief om hierover mensen meer te informeren.

Brothers and sisters, let’s not fall for this shameless classic colonial deception! If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. By joining such a collective, we are causing ourselves and fellow Amsterdammers, our community and God’s beautiful nature to suffer in K-buurt, Reigersbos, Holendrecht, and Gein, where this industry is to be established. The turbines in Diemerscheg will be less than 500 meters from K-buurt!
Health issues such as sleep problems, behavioural issues and learning problems in children are common among people living close to wind turbines.
The greenery of our parks, the beaches and recreational areas of De Hoge Dijk and Gaasperplas will be partly destroyed and mostly unlivable.
An energy collective can best be set up in the ports, without compromising the health of our people and nature and with the same financial ‘benefits’. Making money at the expense of others is not sustainable but immoral.

Windmills can be built in the Sea or maybe in Industrial Areas.
Of course the health of the People and the consequences for Nature must be taken care for!
Participation in Windmill organizations can be done as a individual or a corporate group of African People.
